
While some scenes are custom-made for the camera, others are best seen in the glory of an open stage. In other words -- when only two characters are on stage and standing wa-a-a-a-ay apart from one another .... well, you get my drift! Ya just can't get a decent shot!The photograph of Motel and Tzeitel was priceless, and I just wish you could hear the gossiping villagers all chattering about the mix-up in the match. Too funny!
I was all ready for the dream sequence when the technicians turned down the stage lights -- too far even for my camera's digital eyes. So those shots are a bit grainy ... or "haunting" if you will. I missed the whole wedding scene (I was called out of the room by someone who needed computer help) but got back when Act 2 opened with Tevye #2 taking center stage. So if you notice that he looks different -- it's not your eyes!
