We're delighted, excited and ecstatic to take the opportunity to share with all the actors, actresses, and their parents some great digital photographs taken of The Growing Stage Summer Theater cast in their production of The Fiddler on the Roof. The photographs were taken during the first dress rehearsal and have been arranged according to the Acts and scenes. We've also included the individual cast bows from the rehearsal, some terrific shots of the kids dressing for the evening's performance (such hams!), and last (but never least!) some fun shots of the crew (Moms, technicians, assistants, etc) who played such an important part in making everything roll smoothly. Each of those segments can be reached individually by clicking on these links to the left ...OR you can simply start with the Act 1 - Scene 1 photographs on this page and click the "next page" link at the bottom.
To help you know where you are, the following pages have the following scenes...

But before we dive into the photos, we'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks and love to ...
Our Fantastic Multi-talented Sweet
Best-in-the-World Director
...for her expert guidance and shaping of these 27 talented kids into a tight-knit, professional, and utterly spectacular group of performers. We all stood in awe of her energy, her drive and her boundless enthusiasm -- especially since she was also in the midst of performing on-stage herself. I can personally say it was a joy doing the sets for her! She did a phenomenal job with these kids -- and this performance! -- and deserves a standing ovation! Bravo!!
Second, a very, very big thanks to the parents who were in the trenches every day -- seeing to the costumes, sets, props, backstage, concessions, etc. Without your support the schedule would have been near impossible to accomplish. You more than helped this play to become possible -- you made it so!
The Fiddler CastAnd finally for the kids who put their enthusiasm and love of the stage front and center -- without a doubt you were fantastic -- singing, dancing, and acting your hearts out in the best performances of "Fiddler" ever! For you these photographs are dedicated!
Now, before I forget ... the photos that appear on the following pages have been reduced to load quickly on your screen, however if a little hand appears when the mouse is placed over a photo then a full sized photo has also been up-loaded. Also, due to the fact that this website is on a public forum, only the character's name has been used, not the actor's name. (If you saved a playbill, you'll know who everyone is!)
In closing -- any comments, questions, upcoming productions, etc... please feel free to e-mail
The Growing Stage Theater Co. And now ... we invite you to sit back and enjoy some select scenes from the dress rehearsal of The Fiddler on the Roof!

Scene One: "Matchmaker" .....The Daughters
"Matchmaker, Matchmaker -- plan me no plans
I'm in no rush. Maybe I've learned
Playing with matches a girl can get burned!
So... bring me no ring! Groom me no groom!
Find me no find! Catch me no catch!
Unless he's a match-less ... match!"
